ABOUT LAURENTZ

My name is Laurentz Vogel, and I’m an energetic, positive-minded individual who believes in embracing life and savoring every moment. Originally from Chile, South America, I've always had a passion for sports, music, and dance. In my early years, I attended ballet school and became an athlete, channeling my love for movement and rhythm.

Later, I moved to the United States and settled in beautiful Connecticut, where I attended college, learned English, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. My college years in New York were a vibrant mix of studying, working full time, and spending weekends dancing, which I continued to enjoy long after graduation.

After several years in New England, we decided to relocate to what I affectionately call "Paradise"—sunny Florida. Here, swimming became a beloved part of my life, as well as for my two beautiful, kind, and talented daughters.

During a challenging period, I discovered Zumba, which became not only a form of therapy but one of my greatest passions. After just a few months of attending classes, I knew I wanted to make Zumba a central part of my life. I became an instructor, losing 30 pounds in the process, and have proudly been a ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) member for 11 years. I’m also certified in Aqua Zumba, a fun pool party workout, and Circl Mobility, a class focused on mobility and flexibility.

About five years ago, I developed my own class, "Boogie Chair by Laurentz." Designed to be gentle on the joints, it’s excellent for cardio, building bone mass, upper body strength, and flexibility. The class quickly became popular, even catching the attention of Fox News, which featured an interview and a segment on my class. This exposure was a turning point, opening new doors in my career.

Beyond fitness, my love for music led me to explore DJing. Emceeing parties and creating energetic playlists became a natural extension of my passion for dance and movement. As a DJ, I get to share my love for music with others, whether it’s at a house party or community events, creating an atmosphere where people can let loose, have fun, and keep moving.

Recently, I met the love of my life, who affectionately calls me his princess. We celebrated our love with a beautiful beach wedding right here in our paradise. Through all these experiences, my motto remains: KEEP MOVING! No excuses—just do it. Remember to make time for yourself, prioritize your health, and enjoy every beat of life.
